‘Congress vision not there anymore’: Snubbed for key post, Rajasthan heavyweight switches to BJP

Congress MLA Mahendra Jeet Singh Malviya joined the BJP in Jaipur after expressing discontent for not being chosen as the Leader of the Opposition.
Malviya, a prominent figure in the Mewar–Vagad region, has a long political career, serving as a Lok Sabha MP and a Congress MLA since 2008.
Despite holding various government positions, Malviya felt sidelined within the Congress party and decided to switch sides to the BJP.
